We created an incubator system for cultivation of microorganisms for giving contrast to a simple bassinet. An incubator offers a setting that can be altered to provide the optimum temperature as well as the ideal level of oxygen, humidity, and light. It was necessary to construct a smart medical incubator that could manage temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels to sustain ambient atmospheric conditions in a closed chamber.
Our team has created a touch screen-based device with a Raspberry Pi as the controller. The user may configure the appropriate atmospheric conditions using the specially built User Interface, and PID algorithms are used to automatically maintain them.
The devices are also linked to the cloud, allowing the user to monitor the current status from anywhere.
